1. What are
the Sandhills like? Rolling terrain with native grasses. Open and secluded.
2. Can I use my dogs? Yes!
3. Do you take single hunters? Yes!
4. Will you put me with other hunters? NO!
5. What is the maximum number of hunters you MAY have on the ranch at any one time? Your group! You will not see any other hunters while in the field.
6. How do you hunt? Individual groups. Methods are: Horseback-Tennessee walkers--guide with assistants and supply trailer---or Walking-assisted with Polaris Rangers--reducing foot activity to a minimum.
7. Do the birds hold for dogs early season? Yes!
8. What is the best gauge? I prefer 20!
9. What ammunition or shot size to bring? Good quality 7 1/2 shot.
10. What is the best choke? Improved cylinder and skeet!
11. Will I get a bird to mount early season? I do not recommend it! Plumage is immature!
12. What is the closest commercial airport? Grand Island.....2 hours....commuter service!
13. What is the best commercial airport? Omaha.......3 1/2 hours.......direct flights!
14. What is the closest airport for private planes? Burwell........20 minutes!
